Team Italy delivered a masterclass performance during the second semi-final of the Longines EEF Series, held in Budapest from June 26 to 29. With flawless rounds, they secured first place in the standings and thus claimed one of the five coveted spots for the Grand Final, which will take place in Avenches (Switzerland) from September 4 to 7.

In this high-level competition, twelve nations competed: teams from Southern and Central Europe, including Switzerland, Hungary, Czechia, Austria, Slovakia, Romania, Turkey, Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands, as well as invited countries like Brazil and Qatar. Only the top five teams — including Italy — qualified for Avenches, joining the five nations that had already qualified via the Deauville semi-final.
This result confirms Italy’s strong form, as the nation has already won three of the last four finals, making them a serious contender for the CSIO 4* Final title in September.
